About Us
Allredi was formed in early 2020, when two of the largest distributors in the blasting, coating, safety, and environmental industry, APE Companies and Marco Group International, joined forces. While the qualities both companies are known for have not changed, a lot about our business is new. New abilities. New agilities. New ways to help you win. This calls for a new name, Allredi.
This name exemplifies what we have become. It is completely oriented to the needs of our customers. To your needs. It says that when you call us for anything – products, service, expert advice, anything – you can consider it done. Or even better, Allredi done.
We are your right-now supplier. From skills to SKUs, we deliver the goods fast. So you can be more agile every minute, every day. This is who we are. This is what our new name means. Go ahead and expect excellence, because we’re bringing it.
Our Strategy
Allredi is your right-now supplier, so you can keep your projects moving. From our foundation of strong relationships, we have built a nationwide network that puts vast inventory and ready service close to our customers. We provide advanced expertise, and we deliver the goods fast – so you can easily access the products and services you need to be more agile every minute, every day.
History
Marco Group International was established in 1944 as a distributor of foundry products, serving customers in Iowa and Illinois. By 1981, our customer base had grown to a point where we began to manufacture our own abrasive blasting equipment at our facility in Davenport, Iowa. Over the past three decades, we have expanded into many new geographic regions and opened new facilities across the United States. Countless product lines have been added, including extensive repair and modernization solutions and custom engineering services.
In July 2017, The CapStreet Group, LLC, announced the completion of a majority recapitalization of Marco. Since then, our manufacturing operations, product line offering, and branch locations have continued to grow, including acquisition of companies that have strong reputations in the surface preparation industry. In 2019, we expanded into Canada with acquisitions of manufacturer and distributor, Manus Abrasive Systems, Inc., and abrasive media distributor, Bell & MacKenzie Co. Ltd.
APE Companies hit the market in 2004 after splitting from U.S. Filter. We quickly became one of the top distributors in the abrasive blasting industry. In 2012 and 2013, we acquired BKW Environmental, Alliance Parts, and Safety Pros. The following year, APE was acquired by Ridgemont Equity Partners and grew to include SharpJet and then Corrosion Specialties Inc. Over time, product lines expanded to include safety equipment; environmental remediation products; corrosion control supplies; and waterjet cutting equipment, media and products
In early 2020, Marco Group International and APE Companies merged to form Allredi, LLC. Throughout the year, branch location inventory and software systems were integrated. Two branch locations, one in Deer Park, Texas and the other in Gonzales, Louisiana, are dedicated rental and service locations.
